I Still Need A Little Help Sometimes

I really love to lay on my girl's bed but I still need help getting up on it like I did when I was younger. My family likes their new wood floors but they are slippery for me sometimes. I can't get enough traction to jump without slipping. Luckily my girl will help me up.

I try to give her my pitiful face so she will always help me.

Aw......finally I made it up.
Oh no....here she comes with some strange things to put on me.

I am so happy that my mom and dad still have carpet in their room (so far) and I can jump on their bed any time I want too. Even in the middle of the night with a big toy in my mouth ready to play.

My First Rain

Hi Friends, I woke up this morning to a loud noise outside......so I started barking at it...but it didn't go away. My mom open the back door for me to go outside as usual but there was water falling everywhere (I don't really like water too much).
I usually run outside but not today...I just sat and looked at all that water. Was I going to get a bath (I don't like baths).....I wasn't sure.

My mom and to give me a little push to get outside.
I couldn't believe my eyes............there was water everywhere. My mom said it was RAIN.
I was trying to catch some in my mouth...........not bad.
After a while I kind of liked it.....so I just in the grass to take it all in.

P.S.- I passed my Star Puppy and my Canine Good Citizen tests last weekend. I will show you my Star Puppy Medal when I get it. My mom sent for it in the mail.

My dad weighed me last night and I weigh 51 lbs. I can't believe I gained 10 pounds since my last post. My dad still holds me on his lap in the recliner though.

Hi Friends

Hi Friends ! I am really sorry that I have not posted in so long. My mom is so lame and has not been helping me with my blog lately. I don't know what's wrong with her. Maybe now that school has started again she will start helping me. I finished my Doggie Manners class and now I am taking the Star Puppy class. I am the only one in the class because no one else showed up. I think I like it better when I have friends to play with in class. I went to see my Dr. the other day because my eye was bothering me ( it's OK now) and I weighed 41 pounds. My dad keeps saying that I am a small Golden but I am only 7 months old. I think I have more growing to do.

This is the new wood floor my dad is putting in our house. It is a little slippery to walk on but I am getting used to it.

I miss visiting all my friend blogs so hopefully we can do that soon. I have to keep my eye on mom. I hope all of my friends are doing great !

Post From Lexi's Mom

Lexi had an operation yesterday (she got spayed) and she is not too comfortable today. When she got home last night from the Vet she would not eat or drink anything...I could not even give her the pain pill. The Vet said she had to wear the cone for 14 days but I think that is a little too long.........we will see how she does. This cone is a nice soft one not like the hard ones our other dog had to have. She woke up today with a big appetite. Her Vet said to feed her a soft diet for a few days (chicken and rice)........oh she is in heaven with that. I hope she will go back to eating dog food.
She was trying to take the cone off...I guess she had enough of it.
She is resting a lot today like she is supposed too. She has jumped on the sofa a few times when we were not looking. She doesn't want to sleep there ( I would let her) just sit for a few minutes and then jump down. She has a nice comfy bed but seems to prefer the ground.
She looks so sad with her little cone on. Don't they make pink cones? We like pink.

Helping My Dad

My dad built this new desk for our office the past three weekends and put it in today. I didn't get to help him build it because he did that in the garage and I am not allowed out there. But I did get to help him put it in...........I don't think he could have done it without my help.
I am smelling the drill to make sure it is OK for him to use. It's really noisy......I don't like it much.
Here I am getting a screw to give him. I'm not sure if he liked me walking across his stomach.
