I went to see Dr. Zempo today. She said I was getting to be a big girl...I weigh 34 pounds today and I am 5 months old. I was there for my pre-spay appointment... whatever that is. All I know is I got to met some new friends. This is Shooter......he is a 4 year old Golden. He was really calm and he like to "shake" (hands/paws) a lot. My mom and boy though that was so cute. I didn't catch this kitty's name but I don't think he liked me so much, I think I scared him a little because I was so excited to be there. This is Johnathon... he is a long haired Doxie. We really liked each other. I could have played with him all day. His mom said that he thinks he is a big dog. This is me waiting to get my nails clipped. They seem to do that every time I am there. It feels pretty good after they do it but I am not crazy about having it done. I also got some big rawhide chewy things.....I really like them. Mom did not want me to have rawhide because she thought it was bad for me but these are some special ones that my Doctor said were good. I had a fun time at the Vet's today.
My goodness, you sure have had a busy day! You went to the dog-tor and made lots of new friends. Keeping your nails cut is so important. You have such a good momma!
I don't like trips to the vet. Banjo does cause he likes all the attention. It sounds like you are gonna be a big girl when you are finished growing. Don't worry about the spaying, you'll just be sore for a few days is all.
Hi Lexi, What a smart mom you have to bring her camera to the vet and get such great pictures. I think you are going to be a big girl when you are all grown up and very beautiful too! Luv, Lucy
Good to hear how you are doing. 34 lbs - wow, I only weigh 25 and it took me a year to get that heavy! I'm not into nail trimming either, but my mom tells me it's really important & for my own good, so I reluctantly let her do it! We are lucky doggies to have families that care about us so much! Enjoy your new chewies!
Hi cutie! Yes, I think mom is giving me 'pressed rawhides'....those are ok...and hard bones...not sure I have had those yet... You look very calm on that leash!
Hi there, cutie-Pie, Lexi You have a very responsible Mom to have regular visits to the Vet...and you behave sooo well. Well done girl! It's nice that they gave you chewies too. Must say, you are becoming really pretty...pity about the Spaying (but I suppose it is the responsible thing to do!) Tons of licks Maxdog in South AFrica
Wow Lexi, you are a big girl! Don't worry about the spaying thing, it's not as bad as you think. I was back to swimming in my pool in just a few days. Your pal, Sedona
Hi,
My name is Lexi. I am a Golden Retriever and I was born February 19, 2009. I live with my mom, dad, girl and boy in California. I enjoy sleeping, eating, barking and playing with my family. I think my favorite color is pink because almost all of the toys my family gets for me are pink....so I must love it!
